National Network to end Violence Against Women and Domestic violence is founded on December 7th 2010 by twenty civil society organizations which work in the field of preventing and fight against violence towards women and domestic violence. In the following year we operated as an non-formal network until December 16th 2011 when the network was finally registered as e legal entity.
The network member-organizations are of different size, starting from small grass-root organizatons to bigger organizations operating on a national level. Our members are of various ethnic background and the provide support for women of all ethnic groups, regardless of their socio-economic status.
MISSION
The network represents a coordinated action of civil society organization towards advancing policies and practices in the combat of violence against women and domestic violence. The network’s aim is acknowledgement and promotion of the human rights of women in the Republic of Macedonia.
VISION
The network’s mission is to create a society free of violence in which women will be able to fully develop their potentials and actively participate in creating communities of equal opportunities.
Our approach to violence against women and domestic violence is based on recognition and protection of women’s human rights according to relevant international conventions and declarations; gender-sensitive approach to violence against women and domestic violence; condemning any kind of gender-based violence because there is no justification for any form of violence against women, including domesting violence; advocating for victims’ best interests; approach which is based on functional practices; solidarity and collaboration among member-organizations as well as transparency of the network’s operating.
ЖЕНСКИ ЦЕНТАР ЗА ПОДДРШКА – СКОПЈЕ на Национална мрежа против насилство врз жените и семејното насилство, e специјализирано советувалиште за жени и деца жртви на родово базирано и семејно насилство, кое нуди сеопфатни услуги согласно индивидуалните потреби на самите жртви.
Женскиот центар за поддршка – Скопје, има и линија за позитивно родителство преку која се обезбедува помош и поддршка на родителите и старателите во остварување на родителската улога преку практични совети како соодветно да одговорат на бихевиоралните и емоционалните потреби или промени кај детето од неговото раѓање до периодот на адолесценција, но и како адекватно да одговори на секојдневните предизвици.
Цел на линијата е да обезбеди помош во остварување на родителската улога, а со тоа и да обезбеди правилен развој на децата. Линијата за родители обезбедува анонимна, доверлива, бесплатна и лесно достапна помош и поддршка за сите родителите/старатели/згрижувачи и членови на семејството кои се вклучени во грижата и воспитувањето на детето/децата. Линијата за родители ја сочинува една телефонска линија, која ја покрива целата територија на државата. На линијата работат обучени лица, по еден оператор/ка во смена кои ја гарантираат анонимноста и доверливоста на информациите.
