The network for protection against discrimination aims for legal representation of cases of discrimination through submitting them at the Commission for Prevention and Protection against Discrimination, as well as at the national and international courts.

The national practice course regarding this is prompted via providing legal aid free of charge in strategic cases of discrimination. The network was established in December 2010 by the following organizations: Foundation Open Society – Macedonia; HERA – Health Education and Research Association, HOPS – Healthy Options Project Skopje; Helsinki Committee for Human Rights of the Republic of Macedonia and Association for emancipation, solidarity and equality of women of the Republic of Macedonia (ESE); Roma Organization for Multicultural Affirmation ROMA SOS – Prilep; Coalition ‘Sexual and health rights of the marginalized communities’ and the Republic Center for Support of Persons with Intellectual Disability – PORAKA.

Current members of the Network are: Foundation Open Society – Macedonia, Health Education and Research Association (HERA), Macedonian Young Lawyers Association, HOPS – Healthy Options Project – Skopje, Helsinki Committee for Human Rights, LGBTI Support Center, ESE Association, Stanica PET - Prilep, Coalition MARGINS, ZAEDNO POSILNI and the National network to end violence against women and domestic violence.
