At the LAC, women who have suffered domestic violence are being informed about the legal opportunities on protection as well as relevant procedures at competent authorities, such as the Centers for social services, the police, the courts of justice etc. Free legal aid is provided by professional lawyers and this aid includes information, legal advice and written files for submission on coping with domestic violence and resolving the related legal issues:
- Civil procedures on uttering temporary protection measures
- Criminal proceedings on committed criminal acts due to domestic violence
- Divorce
- Children custody
- Children and partner alimony
- Division of property acquired in marriage (extra-marital relations)
- Establishment of right to ownership of property acquired in marriage
- Retribution

Psychological support for women suffering from domestic violence is being provided by a professional psychologist. Meetings with the psychologist are organized on the basis of previous appointment made by the female users of our services,

Through the internet platform ‘Ask for advice’ we provide online information and legal services for women suffering from domestic violence. This is an interactive platform which enables women suffering from domestic violence to ask a question in order to obtain legal advice on the use of legal mechanisms regarding protection on domestic violence and resolving legal issues related to violence, such as: temporary protection measures; criminal proceedings on committed criminal acts due to domestic violence; divorce; children custody; children and partner alimony; property disputes, retribution etc.
By simple registration with username and email at www.pobarajsovet.mk , women victims of domestic violence can easily access the platform and ask for legal advice in order to resolve the issues they are encountering.
